States can notify their own compounding amounts, so the fine on your challan may differ. Drunk driving is not compoundable and is heard by a magistrate. Some offences, such as helmet violations, can also lead to licence disqualification.

Which challans can SpaceEdge Technologies settle?+
We handle online e-challans, court challans on the virtual court, eligible challans for Lok Adalat, state traffic police challans, PUC and document challans, and commercial vehicle challans. We also dispute challans that were issued in error.
Can my challan amount be reduced?+
Online e-challans are paid at the fixed fine. For court challans the judge sets the amount, and at a Lok Adalat the bench may accept a lower amount for eligible compoundable challans. Any reduction is the court's decision and is never guaranteed.
Do I need to attend court?+
Not for most challans. Online and virtual court challans are settled without a visit. Lok Adalat rules vary by state, and serious offences such as drunk driving require an appearance before a magistrate.
How long does settlement take?+
Online challans are usually cleared the same day. Court challans depend on when the court reviews the case, and Lok Adalat challans are settled on the next scheduled sitting date. We give you an expected timeline in your report.
What documents do I need?+
Your vehicle or challan number, RC, driving licence and an ID proof such as Aadhaar. For a wrong-challan dispute, also share supporting evidence like a sale deed or photographs.
I sold my vehicle but still receive challans. What can I do?+
If the RC was not transferred, challans still go to the registered owner. We help you raise a grievance with your sale documents and complete the pending transfer so future challans reach the new owner.
How much do your services cost?+
The challan report is free. Our fee depends on the number of challans and the settlement route, and we send it in writing, separate from the fine amounts, before you pay.
